Full Tank is a shopping website that is meant to sell fish. The theme came out of an idea to do a parallax scrolling underwater scene and all of it stemmed from there.
I did learn some very interesting facts about fish while going through the different sample fish pages, such as goldfish can live up to 10 years. Also, that each fish have a certain tank type they prefer, This website in a final stage would also seel tanks and other fish accessories.
The Icons were a bit tricky to start with because I had to decide on how much detail to put into them for them to really resemble their real life counter parts. Each Icon used the same grid for construction to keep them cohesive and managable.
If I had a bit more time to really work through the project a bit more, I probably would have tried to animate the icons. Just something simple like swimming in and out of the frame. I also would have liked to add in more complexed fish.
